Adoption help

Hi mums,

I am 30 and just found out that I won't be able to have children. I am sad but also relieved to finally know for definite.
I was wondering whether anyone within the community has ever adopted because I would really love to chat to someone with experience.

Hi, there's an adoption information evening coming up in Clapham details here they say they will have families who've been through the process on hand to chat to.

Also, if you post on the main Mumsnet adoption board here I know that there are adopters who live close on there -- not necessarily from Wandsworth, but certainly within a couple of miles.
