Hello
Following on from our networking event it's become apparent that all of us work-from-homers really appreciate the chance to chat to others in the same position, so here is our official chat thread to support, inspire and motivate each other.
One of the topics that really seemed to get people talking on Friday was how to switch off from work when you're working from home/for yourself. With digital comms so prevalent in everyday life it can be all too easy to fall into the trap of checking your emails in bed, tweeting from the loo, writing a blog during dinner. So how you manage these sorts of incursions into your non-working life? One suggestion made was to try a sort of 5:2 diet for digital devices - have two evenings a week where you stay completely away from computers, phones etc. This tickled me so much I'm considering starting a whole separate thread for it - would anyone like to join me in trying it?
Or perhaps you've found a different problem you would like to discuss? Please do just jump in and tell us about you, your business and your working life.
