Locations for birthdays

My son will be six in july.
We are looking for a place where to have a party. Last year we did it at home and it was a nightmare. I checked Gambado in beckenham but i think it is very expensive. No idea what else to think of....
Can you suggest?

Kidspace do great parties.
Also many of the local leisure centres do swimming/football/trampolining type parties. Also private centres like Croydon High School rent out the pool.
Chruch halls are not too expensive then you can hire a bouncy castle, have lots of balloons and let them run riot for an hour before tea Can suggest a few in South Croydon if that helps.

Croydon High requires Children to be 8yrs but Royal Russell does swimming parties for 6 yes old.
