It’s Suffolk’s biggest two day pop-up family event – and this year it is even better value for money as children aged 14 and under can go free! There is so much for all the family to explore, discover, taste and enjoy at this year’s Suffolk Show at Trinity Park, Ipswich, during half term week on May 28 and 29.
Let your children explore everything about food, farming and the countryside, discover large and small animals to stroke and hold, chose from more than 20 sports to play, the fun of pond dipping and wildlife, taste locally grown foods and enjoy amazing ring displays, top class showjumping and entertainment all in one place. How does it feel to stroke a sheep or little calf, to hold a new born duckling, sit on enormous farm tractors and diggers or military vehicles? How does a horse get new shoes? There is lots to occupy them for hours in a fun environment which does not cost any extra.
In the new hands-on Farm Discovery Zone they can explore all the activities that take place on a farm and discover how they can grow and cook some delicious local food. Look out for new street acts – look out for the enormous Dinosaur, he’ll be around the corner, eager to have a great discovery day out too! There’s a new Parrot Show, a sheep show as well as living statues and musicians and dancers along the avenues
There is food, excellent shopping on lots of different tradestands, entertainment, great products for the home and garden and so much more – bring your aunty, uncle, gran and granddad too!
