Hi, I'm a very sociable person, my husband is moving ur to Rye, where we don't know anyone at all, were from the North West so won't get many frequent visitors, is anyone interested in meeting up at a local stay and play next week? I have a 4yr old son x

It is a tricky business moving areas especially when you have young children. I am happy to share your request on the East Sussex Mumsnet Facebook page and via our Twitter account should you wish it, please let me know. When my youngest was pre school age I found volunteering a useful way of building a local community. You could help run a play group or support your sons prospective infant schools PTA (Parent Teachers Association) who are always keen to have volunteers. Check out the Baby and Toddler Groups on our site. Please keep in touch with our pages and possibly consider setting up a 'Meet Up' group in the Rye area via our local site. Wishing you all the best of luck in your new and exciting adventure and please use our pages to help build your network and find new and interesting things to do, that's what we're here to hopefully help you do.

Yes please, how do I share my post on your twitter and facebook pages, or if you can do it for me, let me know how I check responses, I'm only here until Friday. I'm currently in Rye, how do I find local mums with children of pre school age for a stay and play date?
