Hey everyone, I was just wondering what everyone's favourite pubs were as I want to make sure they're listed on the site and I'm also looking for inspiration of places to go

Chain pubs are often recommended, but I'm also interested in pubs which manage to do lovely food, nice wine but also cater for children. I personally LOVE the Hop Pole in Bewdley which is really friendly, but other than there I'm always at a bit of a loss.

Any inspiration? Some pubs in London do Sunday lunchtime storytelling sessions so you can have a drink in peace while the DC are entertained, now that's an idea :D

Generally family friendly but not with specific facilities - The Bridge in Stanford Bridge (great base to walk from, also welcoming to dogs and muddy boots Smile)

For a good playground - Colliers Farm shop and Cafe between Clows Top and Bewdley - yes it's a cafe, but it's a pub in all but name. Good food, good beer, nice coffee, lovely outside space and fantastic new climbing frame.

Also the Talbot at Newnham Bridge - again, no specific facilities (and TBH they don't have much outside space) but a friendly attitude and a decent children's menu as well as good (but not cheap) food for adults.
