Have you been to Queen Elizabeth Park yet? There your children can have hours of fun and you also can relax in the open air.

There's lots of museums around, docklands, history, science, Bank of England in thread needle street(amazing for kids) ....( all free) The parks are great too. Olympic park is beautiful with lots to do.... If you are willing to travel a bit further how about cookies island indoor play at beckon? Or a London bus tour? If you have money and don't mind sending a little then the Emirates cable cars are great and a boat ride along the Thames...... Another suggestion is London zoo or an aquarium x

The Docklands museum might have lots of things on for the holidays. Mudchute farm is always good for a morning or afternoon. You can buy hay to feed the animals but can also take carrots, apples, other veg for the animals. They have sheep, goats, cows, pigs, llamas and donkeys. There's also a riding school so lots of horses. Tge cafe there is quite good too. Buggy-friendly entrance at the back of asda.

Thanks alot for the ideas ladies, have been to canle car with a few mothers from the children centre, n it was great n i am thinking of going again as my son was at school n missed out. I have been to mudchute farm was good also but when i went last 1week school holiday, not many animals were there. N u have to book for horse riding n have to be over 8yrs aparently. But the museums sound good, will surely try taking them their. I also heard the olympic park is soo big n fun. So will go there soon hopefully, there is water fountains so kids will love it. Any1 interested please go and check it out and give us feed back on where u go.
