Hi! We are moving to Bromley - close to the Bromley North station towards Bickley end in May with our two children who are currently in Reception and Yr2. We aren't familiar with Greater London at all. This was a sudden job relocation from Cardiff to Kings College in London and hence the sudden mid year transfer to schools. The schools near our place would be Scotts park , st joseph , Bickley , St george , valley primary in order of distance. I have heard good things about Bickley Primary but not familiar with the rest.
Can anyone provide any helpful advice / feedback on these schools and what would be our best bet when I am applying to schools? I am very keen both DC stay in same school as they will be in a new city, and just having left their old home, school and friends I wouldn't want them to be separated from each other.
How helpful really is Bromley Council in terms of allocating schools mid year? I am in the process of applying for in year transfer, however I need to figure out my school preferences. But other than Bickley Primary I have no idea about our neighbouring schools.
