Scotstoun Swimming pool closed over summer

Heard this was closing for the entire summer holiday? Even though the commonwealth games are only on for two weeks?!! Does anyone know if this is right?

That's right - it's closed early to allow the council to build some extra badminton courts in the gym area and some volleyball courts over the car park. They also need to tighten up security by making it and employee only site for a few weeks before the games begin.
On a happier note bellahouston and maryhill swimming pools are not involved on the games so will remain open to the public. They are surprisingly nice pools!
