DS has a favourite brand. Lego.
He has hopes of winning an Emmet award for his building skills.

My DS loves the bigjigs range - nice quality wooden toys and we've bought a few items of them from Toytime.

We love Orchard Toys. DD has some great Orchard toy games she loves including a very decrepit version of a ladybird game which was mine when I was her age (and they still sell it today!).

Hi, my son loves Brio, and has in the past had great fun with the Brio train track and trains he has received from Toytime.

Our all time favourite has to be lego. The possibilities are endless. We quite often nip up to Toytime to see what second hand items are on offer. My husband usually follows the instructions of lego and then it gets modified into something even better by my 2 sons! Smile

We love Le Toy Van, a local London family business selling really well built wooden toys. My toddler and nephew love the farm and wooden animals and my daughter uses the wooden kitchen toys nearly every day. Sturdy toys for imaginative play. What's not to like?

sparky61 · 09/04/2014 08:49

I love the BigJigs toys, they're reasonably priced too which is a bonus :-)

lolliplop · 11/04/2014 13:50

Le Toy Van looks great and would be my son's pick as he loves all things fire engine!

stacysmom · 17/04/2014 22:15

Playmobil! We're over-run with the stuff but it keeps DD entertained for hours, which is nice :-). We love ToyTime.

purplejo79 · 18/04/2014 11:04

I choose GALT, very good quality and educational toys, they have helped my daughter who has Learning difficulties no end, and her little brother (1) loves them too... xx

maci234 · 18/04/2014 11:21

lego is a big favourite here for the small to the largest kids

MakeTeaNotWar · 18/04/2014 11:25

Hard to choose but Bigjigs make such lovely things that the kids always love

RCLEARY57 · 18/04/2014 11:26

I like Orchard Toys and have always found them very fun but exceptionally educational and I used a variety of them with bith my children when they were younger toddlers, it paid off though as both of them went into nursery aged 3 able to count to 30, recite the alphabet and write their own names :) Proud Mummy.

kelandab · 18/04/2014 13:27

Orchard games are a firm favourite in our house; my daughter has special needs and they are a great help to her in the way they are set out in such a colourful and practical way.

claire8819 · 18/04/2014 20:51

My sons can't get enough of Lego, it's all they ever want to play with apart from Minecraft on the xbox :)
