Frome Nappy Library Anyone??..

Hello all.. I'm thinking of setting up a cloth nappy library in Frome but before i take the plunge it would be great to know if there's any potential interest out there? Bath already has it's own fab library but perhaps there are enough bottoms to cloth to warrant a library for surrounding towns? It would basically provide hire kits with a selection of all types of nappy so people can try before they buy. Real nappies work out much cheaper to use than disposables in the long run but the initial expense is higher so it's important to choose the right nappy...and of course the planet will love you for it! So, if there's anyone who lives in Frome and the surrounds who'd be interested in this scheme please let me know..Thanks!

Hi, I've just started as Frome's new Energy and Recycling Officer and was doing some research around reusable nappies in Frome when I saw your message. Did you get any interest? I think it's a great idea and would be very happy to help promote it if that's useful? Do drop me a line at: [email protected]

Thanks, Anna

Sounds exciting! I am not a cloth user, just through lack of knowledge on fit for my children. A library would have been an excellent starting point for me, but none local at the time. I think there used to be a natural parenting group that met alongside the sling meet, but I think that has all changed about since I last attended.

Good Luck with your venture!
