Re-location,from Beckenham,Kent.

Hello, we as a family as contemplating relocation. Please all advice
greatly received,as to what people think about Paignton,and surrounding areas,for a family with 2 children,aged 7 and 11. We must strongly consider their schools,and what people with children their ages could
recommend. Or if not, do you have areas,for us to consider. We are trying to arrange a trip at Easter,to also come and have a look around.
Exciting,but very worrying times ahead. Thankyou in great anticipation.

Hello Yoda91 - sorry for the delay in getting in touch. I hope you've managed to arrange a trip to come and see the delights of Devon.

I'm afraid I live in the Exmouth area - so can't help with Paignton queries. We went to the zoo there last week and loved it! But that's the extent of my knowledge.

I will pop this thread on Twitter to see if there are other people that might be able to help...

Best of luck with your relocation. I highly recommend Devon for raising a family - it's a beautiful place to live and your kids are bound to love it once they're settled in. x

Hello- did you move or find anything out? We are looking at Paignton and Torquay for a move over the summer and have a 3,4 and 6 yr old to consider,... Schools, etc. most threads about the area I can find are 4 yrs plus old and very negative,....
Would love to hear more from people there,...
