Who's free for a get together? Smile

I WILL make this one - absolutely determined!

Stephbec · 14/03/2014 20:57

I've just started going to a baby group in Shelford at 1.30 but if I can fit both in I will. Where are you thinking? I'd only have my newborn with me and she's easy about location Smile

NekoKutsu · 14/03/2014 21:26

Oooh I wanted to go to that baby group in Shelford - I go to Sawston on a Thursday morning :D I have a 3 month old.

Stephbec · 15/03/2014 08:38

I'm going to the Sawston group next week so I shall see you there! The Shelford group is lovely (I've only been once) so you should come along sometime. There's cake!

LocalEditorCambridge · 15/03/2014 19:03

How about 11am - does that work - I thought I would host so it's easy for those with little babies.

I'm in Newnham. There's parking & paid parking v. nearby.

I've listed this meet up in the meet up section Grin

Email me on [email protected] or PM me for any more details about location, parking. I've got a baby & toddler so I'm all set up for small ones - if it's nice we can sit in garden and eat loads of biscuits...

Really sorry, but I just can't do it - I'm in Ipswich all that day for work. It's very rare for me to be able to do anything weekdays as I work f/t, sorry to be awkward.

Can do weekends and evenings, will leave the DDs with DH as at 11 and 13 they would probably not be interested...

rebeccamg · 16/03/2014 14:36

Not sure I can do this week. I'm in Whittlesford so definitely keen to check out the sawston and shelford groups!

NekoKutsu · 16/03/2014 19:04

I'm at the Sawston group this Thursday and I have long hair tied back and up, glasses and a little boy called Oliver who will probably be yelling his head off. I usually wear red :D

LocalEditorCambridge · 17/03/2014 14:07

pointythings there's a drinks thread if that's any good - and I'm organising a book club for evening wine discussions

Drinks in the evening would work - non-alcoholic for me, but would still love to meet up. Strictly speaking I'm probably not allowed to be in your group as I live in Suffolk, but I work in Cambridge and after work would just be so much better for me...

LocalEditorCambridge · 17/03/2014 15:00

evening thread

ARGHH!!

My DD is ill with high temperature and runny nose - I'll keep her off nursery tomorrow. You are absolutely welcome to come still though I completely understand if you don't want to come to a house with an ill toddler - especially if you have babies.

Let me know. Have emailed a couple of you already but just in case there are undecided lurkers thought I'd better update the thread.

Gah, it's never simple is it?

OP posts:
NekoKutsu · 21/03/2014 14:51

That's okay - we can try again!

LocalEditorCambridge · 21/03/2014 16:24

I'm doomed! All 3 are ill though one is faking

I'm going to baby & toddler group in Newnham on Monday if anyone fancies it?

OP posts:
NekoKutsu · 21/03/2014 17:00

Afternoon or morning? I'm booked out on Mon morning but can do afternoon.

LocalEditorCambridge · 21/03/2014 19:28

It starts at 9.30am - till 11.30 I think.

OP posts:
Stephbec · 23/03/2014 21:30

Were you at the Sawston group last week NekoKutsu? I was there but didn't recognise you from your description (it was very busy)

SophiaDeane · 15/04/2014 14:05

Is there an April meet organised yet?

LocalEditorCambridge · 15/04/2014 14:18

Hi Sophia - there's an evening out on 25th. Also a coffee morning on 1st May at my house.
