Want to meet more mums (and probably eat more cake?)

We are looking for Mumsnet Local Ambassadors in Glasgow: could it be you?

Local Ambassadors are volunteers who organise regular meet-ups of mums in their area. We need LAs to cover the East End, city centre, North Glasgow and the West End.

Mumsnetter prettybird is doing a fantastic job as LA for the south side: she is happy for you to PM her if you want to ask about her experiences.

A wee bump for this, it would be lovely to get some meet-ups happening in other parts of the city.

I'm in the south side too so wouldn't be able to cover any of the areas needed. Plus I'm rubbish at organizing meet-ups.
I'll give the thread a bump though in case anyone else hasn't seen it and might be interested.

I don't have young ones; mine is 16 now. I stay in the West End and I am looking for full time work; but I would be happy to step up and try to sort something for a starter. I am American (btw) and love Glasgow. I also love cake!
