Thomas more or Harris academy purley?

Anyone with children or experiences of these schools. Will appreciate your views. DD has been offered a place at Thomas more but is keen on harris and wants to put on waiting list. DD is worried about the religious aspect of Thomas more but I am worried about the pastoral care at Harris as it's such a big school with a high turnover of teachers.

you know what's behind high turn over of teachers at school- kids who are hard to control, few in each class who don't respect authority make it impossible for others to learn etc

for that reason I would choose TM every time

Could you perhaps revisit the schools with your daughter? Is your daughter secretly keen on Harris because her friends are going there? What about the religious aspect is she worried about?

Re: the high turnover of staff, happyavocado may be right or perhaps as an academy chain, Harris may have quite a few trainee or newly qualified teachers who go on to different schools. This is a good point to clarify.
