what's Chesterton in Ciren really like?

Hi there! My DH and I are looking to buy ahouse on Chesterton Lane in Cirencester. Whenever we mention it to people who know Ciren ( we're relocating) they make a face and say "which end?". It's got us worried!

What do we need to know before we put our offer in?

Did you buy it? Which end?

I naturally live at the "superior" end, but am sure people at the other end feel similarly.
