March evening meetup

So I've finally got around to starting a new thread!

Could people please let me know when they are available for an evening meet up and we can get something organised. I thought the pint shop might be nice but other suggestions are welcome.

Hi guys, really sorry to do this to you all at this late stage, but I'm going to have to cry off as DH has suddenly been asked to work Friday - potentially very late. This doesn't normally happen, but with one person off long term sick they can't ask anyone else...

I can't make it now either! I hope every one who does go has a fab time and I'll hopefully make the next one

Hi, I've just joined mumsnet-I have a blue rugrat who is 4 and a pink rugrat who is 11 months.Would have loved to come to your evening but realised it's tomorrow so a bit short notice but would love to come on the next one if that's ok. Would be good to get to know some people who love eating and drinking but not until 3am in cattle market clubs! Sadly those days are well gone!

i shall be entertaining my in laws who have very kindly invited themselves at extremely short notice. Not only shall I miss the night out, I'll have to clean the bloody house!

I'll be doing the normal evening routine with the DDs while DH works his socks off covering for other people - again.

Will console myself with several episodes of Star Trek The Next Generation - make it so!

I can still come too. That's three of us i think. Do we go ahead?

I'm really easy either way. If we want to get together for small gathering that's fab - or if you'd rather wait and rebook so more can make it - fine as well.

Let's go for it then. Molbas up thread had also said yes and Neko Kutsu is still coming i think. And I haven't got anything nice in for tea so I'd like to try one of the Pint Shop scotch eggs.

Ach, DD is teething and upset with a temperature, and is having a sobbing meltdown every time I attempt to leave. I think I may not make it this time, I'm really sorry! I hope you have a good evening - am very jealous as I'm really keen to try the gin menu at the pint shop!

Glad u had a good time. I tried calling the pint shop a few times to let them know the numbers had changed but there was no answer so hope they didn't mind less people turning up!
