How bad is the plane noise in Brentford really?

Hi there, I've just looked at a cute house in Brentford yesterday and am considering putting an offer in, the only thing holding me really back is the plane noise. It was pretty noisy in the garden when I viewed the house. Is that always like that and how annoying is it really? The house is just a couple of streets north of the M4.

I live in Ealing and I think the noise is about the same. You really get used to it and it's only very noisy when the sky is clear...

I'm about 10 streets north of the M4, just into Ealing, and only notice it occasionally in the summer and only when they use a particular flight path. So it will be a bit louder where you are but not constant.

You need to visit at different times to see if it's something that will bother you.
