Hello All,

My name is Katia and I have two children, 5 and 1. I have recently started and I am still finding my feet.

I am currently working on improving our site, adding as much useful information as possible to share with Ealing parents in all aspects of their busy lives.

It would be hugely helpful if you could share your local favourite businesses and add your reviews and suggestions to the listings. You can load these up yourselves or give me a shout. Any comments, feedback or suggestions on how to improve our site are most welcome.

I am also very eager to re-vamp our local forum to get parents talking and would like to help organise regular meet-ups. Best way to coordinate these would be through a Local Ambassador - if anyone is interested in volunteering, please let me know.

I am still getting to grips with Facebook and Twitter. Do pop over to say hello, share your experiences or just to "like" us.

I am very excited to be here and Im looking forward to getting to know and meeting many of you soon.

Katia

Hi Katia,

I'm a local Mum who works at Gunnersbury Park Museum and I thought I'd add something about the Museum on the local page but there isn't really a category that we fit into.

I know I can add an event but I just wanted to put some general info about us, what we offer and opening times etc. and I can't work out the best place to put it.

What do you think?

LocalEditorEaling · 07/03/2014 15:48

Hello

It should be placed here - local.mumsnet.com/ealing/museums

Thank you

Done! Thanks

Didn't realise Museums came under 'attractions', as I think of attractions as theme parks etc, especially as it is illustrated with a fairground horse, I don't think that's very clear.

Hi Katia

I used to live nearby and loved the Bunny Park. If you add it onto parks, I'll review it for you. Give me a heads up when you've added it.

Nicola

Nicola - thank you very much for the lovely review. It is a great FREE park indeed!

Fellow Mumsnetters - do pop in and share your opinions/experiences on the other attractions and services in Ealing. It would be lovely to have a huge up-to-date database we all can rely on.

I always try to include free activities in my newsletter because I do want to be inclusive.

Reviewing the Bunny Park made me quite emotional. I do miss London in the Spring time. The country is lovely but there is just something about city streets lined with blossom, people with shirt collars unbuttoned and that just out of school holiday feel.

LocalEditorEaling · 18/03/2014 15:09

Yes, London (esp West London Smile) is gorgeous in spring and summer.

However, you guys have some amazing beaches! I'd give my right arm to live by the sea jealous.

Well if ever you fancy a trip to Suffolk, give us a shout. Love to show you around. We probably get to the beach far less than we should - it is typical isn't it to take for granted what you have? Smile.

Hi Rooki,

I have linked to your thread on Facebook and Twitter. Hopefully, someone will be able to share their experience.
