Pancakes - make at home or eat out?

So Shrove Tuesday is only a week away and the lust for pancakes is already upon us, but here's the dilemma - do we make them ourselves which involves constant to-ing and fro-ing from the pan to the table (unless we can persuade someone else to make them for us and - honestly - how likely is that?) or do we go out?

And if we go out - where's good for pancakes? Can you help?

Got to make them yourselves! Only then do you get to have a soggy crumpled one flip them to ensure each golden side and have interesting combinations like banana and nutella AND ice cream AND cream and nuts and....

You could try making scotch pancakes (drop scone), a delicious alternative, good for brekkie and keep well.
