Hello! This is the first time I have joined in mumsnet but I have followed for a long time as a mother and teacher. Loads of fascinating discussions and advice. Quick question for you please regarding home tuition and home education provision in Colchester area. I am a mother of two (sixth former and second year uni); I have a Cambridge University degree myself; 25 years experience as a teacher from Reception to A' level (part-time, full-time, permanent, supply, primary, secondary, private and state, school-based plus home tuition). I may soon have access to a lovely building in Colchester perfectly suited to being adapted into a few small classrooms. I have many excellent contacts in the teaching profession. Do you think there is a need in this area for a home education base or tutoring centre for all, or any, age groups? Thank you.
