Reclaimed fireplace installation

We would like to install a reclaimed fireplace into our Victorian house (currently there is a rather unattractive hole where there used to be a gas fire). Has anyone done this and does anyone have any recommendations on who locally can help? Thanks!

Do you have fireplace already ?

I've got house full of builders - I'll ask who they would recommend (next week though)

Thanks DyeInTheEar - that would be very helpful. We don't have one yet but there are numerous places we have seen them - Solopark, ebay etc. I think many people remove them to install log burning stoves. We want to hold off buying one until we know how we are going to get it installed. Many thanks!
