How is Orleans doing with the new head?

The impression I am getting isn't particularly good. Lots of low grade disruption even in higher sets. Lack of picking things up/early intervention if students aren't on course to meet targets.
A general feeling of the school resting on its laurels.
Does anyone have a view or is it just me

Hi Twick13. I had the same impression when I visited back in October... And this year results have dropped and haven't been as good as last year. My son is only in y4 now but, that used to be my preferred choice, not sure about it now. Any mums there with first hand experience? Why was there a change of the headteacher in the first place?

I think the previous head announced her retirement a couple of terms before. Why do you think the results have dropped? 2013 results are actually better than last year (given in brackets) on every measure I can see.
