moving to peebles.... schools, baby group talk etc

Hi there, me, my husband and two children aged 4 and 11months are moving to peebles around May. I would love some info from you local ladies on advice on best primary schools, best areas to live in, any baby group classes, what to do and any other helpful info you can think of :) x

I moved to Peebles at the end of June last year. Its a really welcoming place with lovely people and lots of groups you can go to.

As for schools my DS is in P2 at Priorsford Primary and he loves it. The teachers are friendly and there is a lot of activities for the children to get involved in. I can't tell you much about Kingsland Primary or Halyrude Primary, but ive heard no complaints about either.

We live on the Kingsmeadow site and have settled in with ease. Lots of families and places for the kids to play and some nice walks for the dog. A few friends live in Cardrona, which has a nice community too. From talking to others i haven't heard of anywhere that is particularly bad to live.

Hi there, the kids are now enrolled into Priorsford :) so excited! We are hoping to rent a place in June and then buy later on. I hope our paths cross. Im glad to hear its a nice place to live. I love hearing positive things about it. Thanks for taking time to reply.
