What's great about your local library?

It’s libraries week on Mumsnet so I thought I’d kick of a discussion about what libraries have to offer here in Staffordshire.

I have to admit I don’t use mine enough (too devoted to my Kindle ) but friends of mine rave about the bounce and rhyme-type sessions they run.

What do you love about them?
Do they have some good activities?
If you don’t use them, what would tempt you back through the doors?

I like the Bounce and Rhyme. I used to take out quite a few books, but admit I prefer my Kindle now. I wish I could persuade my three-year-old to love reading a bit more.
My local library has slightly odd opening times - closed on a Tuesday and not open some mornings.
