New Nottingham Local Editor here.
I’ve just started the role this month and am focusing on adding listings initially, to make the site more immediately useful.
By the end of the month I hope to have got to grips with the facebook page (please do look it up and ‘like’) and with tweeting - a new experience for me. You can ‘follow’ @MNetNottingham if you’re a twitter user too.
It would be great if members could add any listings you think are relevant. Also, please do add reviews of places you’ve been and services you’ve used. It’s all useful information for anyone trying to find out what’s going on for parents and children in Nottingham.
It looks as though there’s one local meet-up group active but without a ‘local ambassador’ to co-ordinate it at the moment. If anyone is interested in volunteering for that role, or just arranging a meet-up to see how it goes, in any part of the city, that would be fab.
I might arrange something shortly, just to get meet-ups going again and would certainly like to come along if possible. Generally though, I’m planning to focus on the background editing work, to keep the site up-to-date and active, rather than taking on a ‘local ambassador’ role myself.
