My husband, myself and my two kids (1 and 3 years) are due to relocate to Wiltshire/south Gloucestershire in the next month or so. My husband works in Swindon so we want to be no further than 30minutes drive away from West Swindon. We are moving from Stratford upon Avon which is a small town, very friendly with lits to do with the kids. We are struggling to decide where to go. We don't want a big town, making new local friends with kids is very important to us as well as things to do with the kids. I think Cricklade would fit the bill? Small town so easy to feel part of the community, a leisure centre, play park, good schools, outdoor space, few shops, doctors etc. We ruled out Cirencester as although we thought it was lovely there did not seem to be much for the kids and the houses were expensive as the town was so nice. Can anyine offer any advice/suggestions/reviews?
