I came to recommend Pulteney! We've just moved to Odd Down and the Odd Down / Combe Down practices are really poor compared to Pulteney.
I usually found I could always get morning appt if I phoned continuously from 8:15 on constant redial, but obviously couldn't choose a particular GP.

I only moved from Fairfield a year ago and also couldn't fault them at all, especially the handy walk in session they do each morning.

Not sure where you are based but we use Rush Hill surgery (Weston Surgery is part of this too - opposite the hospital) They are run jointly. I can always get an appointment within a day or two and the doctors are really good. Can't recommend them enough.

ChesterCake. We are at Pulteney (closest). We found getting appointments a lot easier once we could do them ourselves online!
You can see which Drs are available at either surgery and when.

Prior to that I often used to get appointments for my pre-schooler (for those "really weird" rashes etc) via the health visitors! or just traipse over to the NHS drop-in centre.
