Into the woods nursery

Hi All, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about the new forest nursery in highgate woods? I know forest schools are popular in Germany and Scandinavia but I'm not sure how well it would translate to north London

I think it could be brilliant, perfect for my pre-schooler. What are your reservations?

I can see that in a huge beautiful rural area it could be amazing. As lovely as highgate wood is... it's still
a very well used park in a busy area - surrounded by roads/tubes. Just doesn't feel the same somehow! And the days that it rains... must bs miserable to have to be out in the wet all day?

I can see your point of view, I guess it very much depends on the child, my little one would love a morning of jumping and throwing stones and sticks into puddles and it would save me having to be out in the rain. In fact I think I would be more worried about the sun and getting burnt.
I would however be anxious about the children getting to park from somewhere else seeing as the roads are very busy and mine is a bolter.
