Keswick school

Any opinions on this school would be greatly received, thinking of this as school for ds and dd.
Also any opportunities for 11/12 yr olds in the area?

I am not familiar with the reputation of Keswick School - have you looked at the OFSTED report? Are you new to the area?

I will try and find out as much as I can so that I can give you more information - I suspect that the school is likely to be a good school and there are lots of opportunities for children aged 11 and 12.

Hi, it's further up than any of the schools I know. Are you new to the area? Majority of secondaries in Cumbria have just been re inspected under new guidelines so remember to check the date when you read the OFSTED.
Brathay based at Ambleside does a lot of youth activities , they may cover Keswick area but I think they may aim slightly older.

Childrens centres cover up to 18 in Cumbria but due to the geography its quite patchy.
There's a climbing club in Keswick if your child is sporty.
