Brighton Montessori?

Hi mums! We've just moved to Brighton and looking to continue our son in a Montessori school. Does anyone know anything about the local Brighton and Hove Montessori? There is also the Montessori Place in Hove, and although it's a bit further, we would't mind the drive, but it doesn't have any places at the moment.

Any help appreciated! I am a bit concerned, as their pupil numbers have dropped over the years. Many thanks in advance!

Hi,
We have just moved here too and our daughter was also at a Montessori. We are going to start at the Brighton and Hove one, but were recommended Montessori Place and they were brilliant, but as you say, no places!
Good luck

Hi Vampit, thanks for your response! We were recommended Montessori Place too; in fact my boy's current teacher worked together with Montessori's Place teacher to build the Children's House we were up until now :)

Have you visited Brighton Montessori yet? Daisy was lovely when we met her last summer, so I'm not concerned that it won't be a nurturing environment, just that the Ofsted had grades of 3 and 2 in places.

Anyway, hopefully it will be good! When do you guys start? Are you applying for mainstream school as well?

Our last teacher trained under Her too!
We are starting b and h Montessori on the 13th and are hoping for Downs Infant as mainstream.

What are your thoughts? Maybe we should chat!
