Moving to Worthing...

Hi
I am planning to move to Worthing - from South London possibly with my teenage daughter to start afresh - and to set up our new home.
I have done a lot of research into the different areas, but wondered whether anyone could shed some light on what, if any difficulties ethnic minorities face in Worthing.
I've been looking for houses in areas like Tarring, Broadwater, Offington and some parts of Salvington - but should I avoid any areas?
I visited Worthing about four times last month and now stay there on weekdays only as I now work nearby - and everyone I have met seems very friendly and I have had no problems - but any insights be gratefully received.
Thanks!

Hello. We moved from SW London 15 years as ago and have not regretted it - our sons are now 14 & 16. All the areas you mention are good - personally I would tend to favour those areas closer to the town/beach as it will give your daughter more independence. But obviously which school you choose is also a key factor - happy to give further input on these as have friends with children at all the local schools - pm if you want. It sounds like you are already finding that Worthing is a friendly place - I think that any of the areas you mention will be equally welcoming whatever your ethnic background. If you would like to live some somewhere with real "local" pubs I'd chose Tarring!
