DD is in Reception at West Hove, Connaught Road. It's a great school, and just had the most outstanding Ofsted report possible. DD is doing really well there. The downside is the playground is tiny and DD is a particularly physical and energetic child who benefits from being outside a lot, and we don't have much garden.
Goldstone was our first choice, on vibe, and we are on the waiting list. But since DD is settled and the school is so amazing, I don't know if we would be better moving her, if we get a place, or not.
West Hove Junior seems on a par with Goldstone however the new site will have less space than originally planned because it will be 4 form entry instead of 3. So no great loads of outside space there either.
Any thoughts on what I should do if offered a place at Goldstone? I guess I'm finding it hard to accept that my gut feeling is to prefer Goldstone when it is not such a good school as West Hove Infants. The flip side is, we would lose out on 2 years of amazing infant school to gain 4 years of better junior school.
Argh! Hate making decisions
