Siblings close in age in the same primary school class, good or bad thing?

Hello, I am looking at Park Street as a possible school for my kids, but as mine are a school year apart in age, and the school combines 2 year groups in one class they will be in the same class. Does anyone have experience of this and how has it worked out for your kids?

I havin't experienced this - but I would imagine that it depends on how they get on at least partly - you might want to re post on the main mumsnet site - there is a good primary school section

I've linked the thread in Primary Education on mumsnet - and posted again to see if you can get some positives and negatives. Hopefully some Cambridge mumsnetters with Park Street knowledge might be tempted over here as well.
