Hi Mums and Dads!
My name is Lauren. I'm a fun loving, hard working and reliable student and currently studying for my A-levels at Notre Dame Sixth Form College. I aspire to be a criminal barrister and study at Leeds University so I'm hoping to stay in my home town for a good few years yet. This means that If I were to babysit for your children, over a long period, they would be able to trust a caring, familiar face when their parents weren't around. I have always got on well with children of all ages and truly adore their company; they often teach me things that I didn't know before!
Personally, I enjoy creative and crafty activities and I am a keen cook and baker. If you required I could rustle-up a healthy, delicious tea for your little ones to take the pressure off you if you're going on a night out etc. I also remember how exciting bun decorating is when you're little and I could keep your kids entertained, as long as you don't mind sprinkles everywhere! (I'd clean up)
I can do anything from playtime, cooking, cleaning, changing nappies, feeding, bathing, dressing, helping with homework, reading bedtime stories and putting your little ones to bed.
Also, I can always provide my own transport, whatever time it is, so you'd never need to worry about that.
My Experience:
I have had bags of babysitting experience dealing with a wide age range of children from babies to teenagers. Each child I have cared for has been adorable and we've bonded really well. Their parents have always been impressed and would be happy to give me good references should you require them.
Your children would also be in very safe hands because I completed a First Aid qualification during my time as a cadet.
Additionally, while studying for my GCSE's I taught primary school PE lessons (KS1 & KS2) teaching children about the importance of a healthy life style and exercise (while having a lot of fun too). I am now a certified Junior Sport's Leader.
My Qualifications:
Apart from my First Aid and Junior Sport's Leader training I earned 12 GCSE pass grades. Overall, I obtained 9 A*/A grades including: Maths, English, Science, French, Spanish, Geography & Religious Studies. Therefore, helping your children with homework whether it be reading/spelling or GCSE standard wouldn't be a problem.
My Availability:
I can be available as frequently as you require. My hours at college vary:
Mon- 10am-1pm
Tues- 11.30am-4pm
Weds- 11am-4pm
Thurs- 9am-1pm
Fri- 9am-4pm
*I can be in most parts of Leeds 30 mins after college finishes
Weekends-available any time
Holiday-I'm always at home on holidays so I could be available then
Nights- I'm also available to stay late/stay over on any day should you require it.
My Fees:
I understand that families are able to pay different rates and require different services so a reasonable rate can be negotiated.
