Can anyone recommend Glasgow Academy for P7 onwards?

My nephew is in p5 and is getting on brilliantly, it seems like a great school. Lots of homework, but I would recommend on what I've seen.

I'd not go there, one of my friends dc was really badly bullied and school did diddly-squat to help. But I'm very happy with the Gaelic school my kids go to. I'm not sure private (which we can't afford for 3 dc anyway) would be any better?
