Anyone in honiton or nearby

Hi all, I have recently moved down to honiton from up north with my nearly 5week old son. I moved for my partners work and so have not managed to meet anyone yet, just seeing if any mums around near me who fancy a chat, maybe coffee? Or could suggest any good groups I could attend to meet other mums :-) x

Welcome to Devon first of all! And congratulations on the birth of your son.

You may want to visit www.exeterbabies.co.uk which lists baby/toddler groups that are held in and around the Exeter area (if you're able to travel that is?).

Have you heard of the NCT's Bumps and Babies groups that are held? They are run for expectant mothers and new parents/grandparents/carers of babies from birth to walking age. You don't need to be a member of the NCT to attend and a donation of £1 per session is suggested.

I attend a Monday group at America Hall in Pinhoe, Exeter. I know that at least one other Mum travels in from Honiton for the group. We're a friendly, laid-back group and we'd warmly welcome you and your little one. The group runs from 10am till 11.30am. You'll find more info about the groups on the NCT website and, as I say, the Exeter Babies site is really useful.
