I'm new to the area and I have a 2 year old daughter. We are in the catchment for brookburn and chorlton park.
Does anyone have any experience or heard anything in relation to which is better?
It's possible that dd will be bright (her father is very academic) but she is a bit reserved and I worry about bullying.
Any thoughts welcome.

My friend has two children at Chorlton Park and seems very happy with it. From what I know it is a pretty big school (3 form per year I think) and quite mixed in terms of cultures and social groups - so a fairy diverse school. I don't know anyone with children at Brookburn but I think that it is a smaller school and maybe a little less diverse, just because of where it is in Chorlton Green. I have heard that it is very good and popular though. Hope that helps a little!
