Woolwich arsenal mummy groups

I live in the royal arsenal development in woolwich and have a 7 month old daughter. I've made some friends through the brookhill surestart centre but some mums will be going back to work soon and another will be moving from here so I'm looking to meet some more mummies! I see tonnes of new mums around the development but there doesn't seem to be any social groups for kids of this age, and I don't think anything goes on at dial arch? Please let me know if this is wrong?
If anyone wants to meet up for walks along the river with the babies or coffee breaks where the babies can socialise together, or mums to be then drop me a line :-)
If anyone knows of any good local clubs for babies around the 6month age, please let me know!

Also would there be any interest in setting up a new group on the Woolwich arsenal? If so, I'm happy to organise it by contacting the dial arch manager or cornerstone cafe owner (who I know already). If there is sufficient interest in a new formalised sort if group, I'm happy to do this.

Where do you live? I'm above the little tesco on the royal arsenal development, if you know it? My daughter is 7 months old, very sociable and active!

I've spoken to the dial arch about a new coffee group and they are happy to let me run a baby and parent meet up with discounts (buy 5 drinks, get 6th free with loyalty card). The events lady is meeting me next Monday to show me round and I can choose a suitable area, they will provide toys and mats to put down for the babies which is great. I've updated the meet up to Tuesday afternoon 13:30 if that suits you? Hope to see you there.

I find that classes aren't suitable for her at this stage, as soon as I take her out anywhere she falls asleep! Coffee groups are good to meet mums but the babies don't have much space to crawl and play so that's why I'm doing this dial arch one. The other mums that I know tend to do play dates at our homes but sadly 2 of my friends are moving out of London. I can introduce you to a couple of lovely ladies too, both extend our circle of friends!!!

That's great news, I'm impressed! Bet it will be a very popular group. I should be around Tues so will definitely see you there. I could even help you set up if you like. We're near Plumstead Common but I know that little Tesco, I was in the Cornerstone Cafe next door the other day :)

My little girl is also very sociable and active and I find coffee groups/lunch meet ups a bit tricky because she's always itching to get out of the high chair and wreak havoc! So it's great you're organising something that offers the best of both for mum and baby :)

Think I'm supposed to be meeting some other mums on Thursday but sure I could meet up with you beforehand or you could even come along. Are you already meeting at the dial arch and could I join your group? I've got a 3 months old baby boy and I'm sure he would love to make new friends as well!
