Has anybody else experienced problems with Mothercare's delivery in the past week??I am making a general comment about the service. I made two large orders on 13th November. The items were due to be delivered to store on the 15th. I chased this with the store the items were not delivered.
First I called and they said there were delivery's but that the boxes hadn't been opened. I popped into the store at the time they asked me to call back. The boxes still hadn't been checked. I came back an hour earlier still no check.
I decided to check with customer services. I had received no communication about this delay. I contacted customer services which simply replied saying there had been a delay. I asked for an explanation I was then told the items were delayed due to a computer error. I received an email over the weekend saying the delivery would be with the store on 18th Nov. The items were not. I received automated emails saying the orders had been updated. They both still state 15th Nov as delivery date.
Today 19th Nov. The items are still not in store. I called customer services, who called the store. They told me the items were with City Link on the way to store and that the store would call me. They haven't. These orders contain the majority of my hospital bag, and it's a considerable order. Including things like a Caesarean belt. I was in the hospital with a bit of a scare yesterday and had to be monitored for the day. All I kept thinking was if the baby comes early I do not have my hospital bag prepared. This is beyond ridiculous. I ordered my items via Mothercare because I assume they could be trusted to deliver. They have actually made the experience more stressful.
