Nurture nursery

Hi
Does anyone have any knowledge / opinion of the nurture nursery on pelham rd, particularly for the younger age group (my daughter would be 1).
Any experience particularly from existing parents would be fab, especially on the management and whether the babies are happy and well looked after.
Many thanks

I'm afraid I'm well beyond that stage, Serendipity. I wonder if you could look at its Ofsted report initially and then go and look round? Once you have formed your own opinion, it might be worth going for a walk with your daughter at around the time parents pick up and just ask a few parents as they come out (if they don't look too hassled)? Easier to do on pick-up than drop-off as they hopefully won't be in such a hurry? Most parents are happy to share experiences particularly when it comes to anything to do with education!

Are there any toddler groups in that area that you could go to and ask Mums/Dads there. Do you know anyone with younger children at Pelham School whose under threes might be at the Nurture Nursery?

My friends' son goes there and has been there FT since he was younger than 1YO - he's been there for over a year. They seem very happy about it.

I love this nursery! I know 4 parents who use it and they rave about the childcare. It is not just the attitude and qualifications of the staff they love but the attention they give to the children.
I would not go by their Ofsted report. They had a malicious complaint made against them by what they believe to be a disgruntled employee. And have consequently been battling with Ofsted. However Ofsted are visiting any day to re-inspect. You should definitely visit them...as a parent you will have a gut feel as soon as you walk in. The children are so happy!
My child is at their Raynes Park branch - both nurseries are stunning and run so well. I cannot big them up enough.....

Hi all,
I attended a stay and play session yesterday at their Raynes Park nursery on Pepys Road.

They are running these sessions every Thursday morning until December, so I thought I would give it a try, whist also looking at their childcare facilities. I took my DS who is 2yrs old and my DD who is 8 months to their messy play session.

It was a lovely session, well organised the staff where really friendly, its a lovely little nursery, I will be going back next Thursday for their story and puppets session.

Good that there are so many positive reviews for this...

It's such a nightmare trying to find good quality and affordable childcare - something that we've all struggled with!

Thanks everyone - really helpful. I have been for a visit and think it seems very nice and caring.
