I need some friends!

Hello, my son, Harry, and I would love to meet and make some new friends. Harry is 9months old and simply loves meeting and playing with little people, and I would really appreciate some adult company. We often go to the soft play, swimming and have lunch out together. My other half works all week and I'm starting to feel lonely, I've lost all my friends since having Harry and I feel guilty Harry has no little friends of his own too. If you would like to meet us that would be lovely.

We are in Lowestoft by the way, forgot to add that!

I am the new Local Editor for Suffolk and will be working hard to develop the local meet up section of MN Local. I realise it is somewhat quiet at the moment but hopefully that will change.

I will be looking for Local Ambassadors (LA's) in your part of Suffolk soon to help coordinate and run these meet ups. This will involve promotion to local Parents groups, press and other organisations. If you would be interested in this, please let me know. You can tweet me @mumsnetsuffolk and even tweet your request via this or I can retweet for you. There is a FB page here for you to post listings for local activities and discuss things of interest to you and other Suffolk MNers too.

Whilst this site is getting up and running maybe post a thread on the main MN site (using your MN nickname for privacy) asking for local friends and then refer them back to this Local site for future coordination of meetups.
