East Devon mums...is anybody out there?!

Hi! I would love to make the East Devon group active and organise a meet-up but I'm a little worried there might not be any East Devon mums yet.

If you are from East Devon (so Exmouth, Sidmouth, Seaton, Clyst St Mary, Honiton, Ottery St Mary and thereabouts!) would love to hear from you.

I know some local mums - but they are Mumsnet virgins - so in the end, it would just be a get together, rather than a Mumsnet gathering! Would like to bring some new people together.

There's a lovely lady hoping to come on board as Local Ambassador for East Devon in the New Year - so we can start to get some meet ups organised. In the meantime, we're doing a Devon wide meet up/Christmas party in Haldon Forest - Thursday 12 December 10am-12pm. Would be great to see you and EggFlipped (and any other East Devon mums) there... Hi LaDay and BethandImmy! I haven't yet planned an East Devon gathering - but there seem to be a few people interested - and I've met some local ladies too - so could definitely get a group together. Would be lovely to do something now the weather is (slowly) improving.
BethandImmy - we are in a similar situation: I have a 21 month old toddler too, called Tom, and No.2 is due in July. Hope the move went well and you're settling in.

Clioann- Yes settling in well thanks. Just been away visiting friends so I'm having the great task of catching up on washing etc today :/. Would be great to have a get together or if you fancy a play date with our little ones let me know :)
Brides- I am in a similar position at the moment ,being the new Mum at every group but hopefully will meet up with some of you from here :)

That would be great Beth. Not sure whether it's something you'd be interested in, but in Sidmouth on either Good Friday or Easter Sunday, they hand out hot cross buns (and used to be an orange and a cream egg!) to little ones, it's a bit of a tradition. I loved it web I was little :) just something to do if you want to get out in this glorious weather!
