Little Christmas Doors for Teddington

On November 28th, at the Lights Up evening, twenty four tiny doors will be revealed in Teddington.

Adults and children alike will have to look hard to find these unique little doors! The Christmas Doors will be tucked away in toy shops, cafes, estate agents, jewellers, clothing shops and a church. Each door will reveal a little Christmas secret all of its own!

This is what you do! - Visit each shop, find the door and collect your sticker.You can then visit the last door and collect your Christmas treasure from Teddington Baptist Church. The doors are tiny, and you will have to look very hard to find them.

On Sunday 15 December, from 4pm "A Wish For Christmas Lantern Procession" will bring the Teddington community together as children and adults process through the town centre carrying beautiful lit lanterns made from paper and willow.

The paper and willow lanterns are being created and paraded by groups of young people and children from the local Schools, Brownies and Clubs as well as other local groups.

The procession which will be led by Santa on his Sleigh, will start at the Memorial Hospital end of Broad Street and go through the Causeway, Middle Lane, Elleray Road, back into Broad Street and finish outside of the Baptist Church in Church Road, rounded off by carol singing.
