Hi, Im moving to Rainham very soon after living in West sussex for the past 13 years.
I grew up in Kent so returning to be nearer family now I have my own family. Im married with 2 girls aged 5 and 3.

Anyone about in the Rainham area?
Also any advice on good local schools would be great as will need to find new schools for the girls too.
:)

Hi

I grew up in Gillingham so just down/up the road from Rainham - I moved away eons ago but do still pop down every so often to visit family and a friend.

I probably won't be much help but you never know, I've got to go out now but will be back later. My sis is just going through school selection process so for secondaries so I might be able to help there?

Back later

Hi

sorry it has taken me ages to come back. My niece is currently in Y6 here so not Rainham exactly but very close depending on which part of Rainham you're moving too, don't bother reading if you're going to be at the Sittingbourne end! It's a really good school and she's loved going there. Quite a few of her class took the 11+ and all but one passed. She didn't have a tutor. A friend's little girl went to the Catholic school just across the road from twydall primary - sorry can't remember the name - I'm sure it's on google! Another good a school so I'm told.

Hopefully someone actually in Rainham will be along and help you out.

You are close to Bluewater - well jel (as they say)

Yup. I'm in rainham with 3 year old twins.

2 months too late for your post though.

Anyone else round these parts?
I'd love to meet mums in medway who aren't on crack
