Does anyone have any idea where he will be this year yet and what dates? I have a rather bad habit of realising the week before christmas that I have forgotten about it, and everywhere is already fully booked!

To be especially awkward, I don't drive, so I need to be able to get there easily on public transport...

Hiya. This probably isn't going to be of any help to you two, but I just wanted to share a really magical time I had visiting Santa in Clearwell Caves with my DD. it's in the Forest of Dean & I doubt you could get there on public transport v easily, but it's not too far to drive, especially for those in the East of the county. It made visiting Santa a real event! They had an underground Christmas market too...

I know its out of the town centre but they have a grotto at the 14 Locks canal centre in Rogerstone every Sat & Sun on the lead up to Xmas. No need to book either.
