We have a few people interested now, so am hoping to get something arranged for the first week of December. Hopefully that's far enough away from Christmas that everyone won't have gone crazy yet! Wink

So, what days/times are best for you, and any preferences re venue? Daytime plus kids or evening plus alcohol? Grin

How about this place? local.mumsnet.com/monmouthshire-newport/cafes/119459-sammy-sure-baby-cafe

SamInSouthWales · 08/11/2013 11:24

Tuesdays or Fridays daytime suits me best. Have to be back in Cwmbran in plenty of time for pick up from school by 3pm. Morning would be best for me. Say 10.30am? I'll fit in with the majority though.

BeyondTheLimits · 08/11/2013 11:57

Oo, I know the share centre, did not know they had a baby cafe! That sounds like a good place.

As I have sneaky suspicion I'll be having coffee and cake on my own in Usk next week, can I gate-crash this one too?

Cheers

Graham

SamInSouthWales · 08/11/2013 17:00

I'll give them a ring to check it's all still current. Graham- the more the merrier, but don't give up on Usk just yet!

SamInSouthWales · 10/11/2013 13:06

Graham- of course you can!

JemmaRees · 11/11/2013 22:07

Hi everyone. I'm a new mum to a 9wk old boy and am looking for any opportunity to get out of the house!! So it'd be fab to meet up with some other local mums ... Jem

SamInSouthWales · 12/11/2013 17:41

You and your baby boy will be more than welcome Jemma!

FatPenguin · 13/11/2013 10:47

I would love to come but can't do days at the moment due to work :( I will be going on mat leave from 1st Jan so would definitely like to make the next one. Is there a facebook group? Would be nice to know some local mums.

SamInSouthWales · 13/11/2013 17:21

Not to worry, they're organising another one in December. Check out Graham;'s thread and check the "Meet Ups" section. Hooray! The more the merrier.

DadsCan1 · 20/11/2013 15:53

Hi all. I'm a Development Worker on a project called Dads Can that supports and engages with dads in Monmouthshire between the ages of 14-25. If you or anyone you know that could benefit from the project or just wants to know more then by all means just give me a shout. Hope your meetup continues to grow :)

SamInSouthWales · 20/11/2013 19:57

Thanks Dads Can. You can list your organisation on our site for free. Mumsnet isn't just for Mums, or for women! Thanks so much for dropping by and taking the time to post.

lydiamama · 26/11/2013 20:09

Hi, I am very interested in the December meet-up. I can not do week days due to work, unfortunately. I will keep watching the thread in case you meet up on weekends

SamInSouthWales · 26/11/2013 23:05

Hi lydia, because of differing schedules, it's likely that the dates will only suit some, but hopefully the next date will suit others, so if you stay tuned, there is bound to be one that fits into your schedule!

DadsCan1 · 03/12/2013 14:02

Hi Sam. How would we get the Dads Can project on your site please?

SamInSouthWales · 03/12/2013 20:19

You can add a listing here for free local.mumsnet.com/add-listing/monmouthshire-newport/community-organisations.

If you email me on [email protected] I might be able to do you a deal on an advert too.
