Help! Possibly relocating to Leeds area...

Hello!

We are thinking of relocating to the Leeds area, and wondered if any local mums could give us a feel for a few areas before we head to Leeds for a look round. Due to transport links we would like to be in the Pudsey area, if possible in a semi-rural location. Hubster will be working in Leeds/Bradford city centres. On the map and internet research so far we like the look of Pudsey, Calverley, Farsley and Fullneck. We will be buying a house, and have two children who will be about 3 and 20 months at the time we are thinking of moving. A good school catchment area is important to us, as well as accessible leisure activities (pool, library and parks).

Any areas that would be nice/to avoid? Any schools we should be wary of, or anyone have any idea on good schools in these areas?

Thanks in Advance! :)

Have a look at Guiseley - 15 min to both Leeds and Bradford by train, 10 min walk from the top of our road to get to countryside, lots of families, really good leisure centre, small but well-used library. I moved here from Chicago and absolutely love it.

Horsforth?- good schools, park, high street
Rawdon?- nice houses and shops.
