What car seat is your child in? Just booster or full seat

Mine was in a booster age 6, but as he's so big now aged 8 (wearing age 9-10 clothes) he doesn't use a car seat at all. His head is in line with the head rest (almost) and the seat belt is no longer threatening to strangle him, so he's fine without.
