Hi! I live near St Helens and have an almost 6 month old daughter. I'm not from the area originally and before having my daughter I worked long hours in Manchester, so the friends I have are based there - bit too far just for a coffee, really. I'm also quite shy, and I tend to become awkward in big groups so I'm struggling now to make new friends at baby groups. Plus the mums in my area all seem to be absolutely immaculate at all times! I always tend to have the air of someone who has just fallen into a hedge!
Are there any mums local to St Helens that would be up for meeting for coffee, going for walks, etc?
I should note that I'm a first time mum and I'm a big owl softie when it comes to my baby girl. Some mums I've met can be a bit off when they find out I don't put my daughter down to cry and go off to have a coffee. We all parent in our own way but I guess I would like to meet mums who don't mind how other mums look after their kids.
